Reynolds Branch closed until sometime in November to address flooding damages

During the recent flooding, the George Reynolds Branch Library, 3595 Table Mesa Dr., sustained significant damage in the basement and meeting room, and the branch library will be closed until sometime in November 2013 to address the environmental remediation and repairs needed.

During this time, the items placed on hold that were waiting at the Reynolds Branch for pickup will be brought over to the Main Library, 1001 Arapahoe Ave., for patron pickup.  Patrons with these items on hold will receive an email or telephone notification letting them know once the hold is available at the Main Library.

The Main Library, as well as the Meadows Branch, 4800 Baseline Rd., and the Carnegie Branch Library for Local History, 1125 Pine St., are open regularly scheduled hours. All three libraries received minor water damage during the flooding, but are open for business. Visit the library’s website for more information, at boulderlibrary.org.

The City of Boulder has launched an updated flood information website that provides information related to flood response and recovery. The page represents a re-purposing of the community’s longstanding flood preparation and mitigation website, www.boulderfloodinfo.net.  A significant amount of information has been posted, and other information and resources will be added as they become available.
